Smart.net is a networked access control product which is configured with a PC. Each controller on the network wil manage one door, two readers and associated locks etc. Each controller (DC2000) will store events (transactions) which are collected by the PS (Smart.net software). There is no need for the PC to be connected at all times as the controller (DC2000) makes it own decisions. This is called distributed intelligence. | |||
